Let’s just say your subconscious stays packing a bit of implicit bias and it happens to make its way into conversations, arguments etc. In today’s episode, we discuss some of the things we were surprised to learn about each other when we started dating.

We realized we had been giving y’all a lot of subject themed episodes and we decided to drop a story time this time! On this episode, we’re talking about meeting the parents while we were dating. Usually, depending on the type of family you come from, introducing a significant other can be nerve racking. For some, you never bring it up until you’re ready to get married while for others, you start the introductions from the get go.

In this episode, we talk about how Kola jumped all the way from the friend zone into a highly unexpected relationship. To be honest, it was unexpected on both our ends especially after the random phone call that turned things around.
